We all know that travel broadens our horizons, pushes us out of our comfort zone, gives us the opportunity for so many new experiences and helps us make new friends… but did you know that it can even make us more creative? Studies show that spending time abroad can affect mental change - creativity is related to neuroplasticity, or in simple terms, how the brain is wired up. These wires are affected by our environment, making them sensitive to change. It rests like an old English country house replanted in the foothills of the Himalayas and it feels like it to. But Andrew is not the impeccable English fellow that his name and the place suggest. We might sit around the fire in…

A couple who travel regularly with us, recently made a donation to a school visited on our Chennai to Kolkata trip. Clients are encouraged to visit schools as part of the overland experience in conjunction with Dragoman's whole ethical tourism policy. Responsible Travel has always been a very important part of our operation. We believe strongly that we should try and give something back to the communities in the countries we travel through. We are involved in a wide range of community-based tourism projects around the world and through our involvement in these projects, we try to ensure that local…
